Green Tea Chocolate Cake Recipe

Green Tea Chocolate Cake Recipe- A green tea recipe that combine two great flavours.


Serves 4
Ingredients
4 eggs
2 Tbs. of matcha
3 tbs. of choc chips.
1 ¾ cup of flour
1 ½ cup of sugar
¾ cup of butter

1. Put butter in a bowl and stir until softened.

2. Add sugar to the bowl and mix well.

3. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.

4. Combine eggs with the butter mixture.

5. Sift the flour and the green tea powder together.

6. Add the sifted flour to the egg and butter mixture and mix.

7. Finally add the chocolate chips to the bowl and mix together.

8. Pour the cake batter into a medium-sized cake tin, lined with baking wax paper.

9. Bake in an oven preheated to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 35 minutes.

  1. Yes, who said comfort food can't be healthy? Both green tea and chocolate have all those nice antioxidants which are very healthy for the heart. Maybe this recipe could be tweaked by using less sugar and mixing dark chocolates instead. Now that would do our teeth and gums a great deal of favor, right? Guilt-free food, stain-free teeth.
